Welding

A high-temperature process when two or more metal parts are joined by fusing. The workpieces are heated to the melting point, joined into a single piece with a monolithic structure, and allowed to cool. Electric current or a burner flame can be used for heating.

Welding

Some types of metal welding

Manual Arc Welding (MMA)

it uses an electric arc between the electrode and the material being welded.

Semiautomatic arc welding (MIG/MAG)

continuously fed wire and shielding gas are used instead of an electrode to ensure high welding speed.
